Mitchell B. Richtman, 31, was arrested Thursday after a search of his East Windsor home turned up devices containing a second-degree amount of child pornography depicting children as young as five years old, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
Detectives also located several videos that show Richtman performing sexual acts on a horse, Onofri said.
Richtman previously made headlines for masturbating around children at several public libraries in Mercer County in 2015 and was ordered to undergo five years of sex offender treatment at the Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Trentonian reported.
Richtman faces charges for second-degree possession of child pornography and fourth-degree animal cruelty. A motion has been filed to detail Richtman pending trial.
Second-degree child pornography charges are punishable by up to 10 years in state prison and a $150,000 fine. Fourth-degree animal cruelty charges are punishable by up to 18 months state prison time and a $10,000 fine.
